The awards committee for the documentary section was led by Lawa Pyakurel and included Shuchitra Shrestha, the first female Nepali film director; Shubash Gajurel, a senior film director; Shantipriya, a writer and senior lyricist; and journalist Bharat Bamjan. The  film section jury was led by Madhav Raj Kharel and included  Janak Raj Khakurel, and others.
